Community Raise-the-sukkah - September 2013
A wonderful day raising the Sukkah, creating at each craft station, playing gaga, softball and spending time with all of our friends.
A big Yasher Koach to all those who helped construct the sukkah and create the fun day to decorate and celebrate the sukkah. Thank you to Morah Ita for the wonderful programming, Men's Club for raising the Sukkah and the DeAngelis family for providing Schach.
Particular thanks go to Rob Shear, Steve Robinson, Matt Jacobson, Josh Winston, Neal DeAngelis, Simon Moskowitz (new member), Paul Shraga, Dan Moldover, and Rodney Feldman for getting it built in record time.
Also thanks to John Stienberg, Ben Shapo (new member), Josh Winston, and Dan Moldover for putting the sukkah away in under 2 minutes! (check out the video).
Congratulations to the winners of our 2013 Sukkah Kit Raffle: Bill and Ellyn Hirsh. I know the kit will serve their children well for years to come. Kits will be available again next summer if you missed getting one this year.
